My costs for the domain and site are running at about $4.75k at the minute, and I would prefer to keep the site than sell it for a loss.

Dont forget that Lapland holidays can run over $1600 per person or a four day tour.

eg. At random google listing (santa.fi) it is £1135 for a 4 day tour (over $2,000 USD)
