Kayako - 05-21-2004, 08:34 AM

I hate kayako.

in my eyes it is the worst control panel on the market today.

I hate kayako for one reason, and one reason only.

That reason is that it doesn't function well if you are using any browser other than internet explorer, and in often times if you ever try to view a ticket regardless of your browser, you will be smacked in the face with a message stating the following:

Quote:
Error: Invalid email or ticket key
in often times, even if you try to reply to a ticket, you will be smacked in that face with that message, and you will be required to re-login, and when you do re-login it will bring you back to the list of tickets, and in often times you will be brought back to that "Error: Invalid email or ticket key" screen again.

I hate kayako, I don't recommend any of you use it for any of your websites which require a help desk.

Hrm.... I dont have a problem when using firefox. I do know that kayako has their share of problems. The new version is very buggy.... RC1 should have been a beta.

Kayako is an excellent piece of software and if you have issues then you need to contact the Kayako Support team and not bitch about your problems on a forum.

Further more, i'm going to post my opinion of their software wherever i want, and there isn't anything you can say or do to change my mind.

I'm wondering if anyone here has seen a modified form of kayako? Everytime I see it used it looks pretty standard or only the header change. If you have a link to a modified one I would be interested in seeing it.
