Server load

I just woundering what is you ave server load?, my server load is 1.25, is it normal or it high?

It depends on the type of hardware you have and the configuration.

Mine averages around 0.4 .....

about 0.35 average... sometimes it goes to 2.0 while rsyncing or generating site stats.

Mine is a average 0.18 - 0.25. I have seen it shoot up to 7.0 in the middle of the night once. I asked my server adminstrator why this happens and he told me it might of been one of its nightly processes. He told me he has seen processor server loads go up to 600.00.
