Load average is a simplistic view of the resource utilization based on scaled cpu usage. For example if you have a 1 cpu system and a load of 1.5 then you have .5 of your processes in waiting for cpu. If you have a 16 cpu server and a load of 5 then you have 11 cpu's idling. It is all relative and highly dependant of your configuration, but .20 is nothing to wory about. Basically idle
Mine is a average 0.18 - 0.25. I have seen it shoot up to 7.0 in the middle of the night once. I asked my server adminstrator why this happens and he told me it might of been one of its nightly processes. He told me he has seen processor server loads go up to 600.00.
