For the span of the lifetime of a site, it is impossible to get 100% uptime. It's like winning the lottery and getting struck by lightning at the same time. You look at someone funny, or you get the attention of the wrong crowd, and you might get ddos attacked. Or perhaps an exploit is found in your OS. Or perhaps the power goes out in half of the US. Or Perhaps ... etc..

It is possible to get a 100% uptime in a year period though through clustering.

They were on for few yesterday and then this morning I checked and now the advertizing section is up but not the forums.
