unless you have a lot of customers, i don't think a forum is good idea. Even if you provide good responses, having 2 posts doesn't look great either :)

Just keep adding tutorials and useful information that your clients can use, Eventually they will start posting. On our other forums we had a one time only 200 members. We started a new forums and currently only have 6 but most clients come to the forums to view the information.

Yup and get friendly staff/moderators to encourage discussion on various topics....an active forum will help your sales ALOT
