Well, Hurricane Electric does indeed have a nice data center. However, the network isn't that great everywhere. It mainly depends where your located and what your going to be using the server for. We're hosted on HE now and have been for around 6 months+. We have had a few problems, latency, and etc.

If your wanting something that is going to be fast in most locations you may want look at something in the Central area such as ThePlanet, ServerMatrix, EV1 Servers as mentioned above. Pings from HE to other places in the United States is going to vary since after all HE is in Fremont, CA. So, you may want look at something more central if pings are a concern.

My site is hosted there. The service seems good. I've never had network problems with them, but my site is not a high-bandwidth site. I did have some annoyance with their DNS configuration. I wish they would host reverse lookup for their own IPs with a web form to administer them. That is the only thing that has ever annoyed me about them.

We use HE for our servers and are very pleased.

Both normal web, and Shoutcast hosting.

Im thinking about getting a cab, at he for managed servers, they are fast and stable in my opinion
