Whats the benifit of having Windows?

Whats the benifit of having windows as your server OS? Linux is more reliable and Secure, then why still windows have a portion in the server market?

Im sure alot of companies have the "if it aint broke dont fix it" mentality as Im sure alot of their software is programed for windows based machines.

As to why they went with windows to begin with, thats anybodies guess

i think what makes windows such a good option is the customer support for there producte. If something goes wrong it is pretty simple to find a solution, less time waitng for it more time actually implimenting the solution.
