Your favorite control panel and why it's your favorite? - 10-10-2005, 07:46 AM

Hi guys,
Which control panel are you using at the moment? What are the features which you love about it and what extra features would you like to see in it?
Which features you don't like about it?

Cheers,
Priyanka

We all know everyone loves cPanel ;) It's the most widely used and more people are familiar with it.

Cpanel is definitely the most popular and probably the best. I believe it has the ease of use that makes it superior.

Hsphere might be better than cPanel, but I am used to cPanel. I do not think I would go with a host that does not have cPanel.

Another Vote for CPanel. It is my first control panel. I used to check other hosting services panels like, Helm, H-Sphere, etc. Nothing impressed me. I am using a panel named command console. certainly i don't like to use. but one of my friend signed up for prepaid annual plan. Cpanel is the best

Even if I am not familiar with its latest release, Plesk seems to be better and better.
I was used to work with it 5 years ago and everything was all but absolutely not secure nor stable.
Then we switched to Ensim. (What a mistake!!!)
Each upgrade was not for the fine of heart.
We hated it. Their support was simply unexistant. Their advices unrelevant. Fix were coming weeks, and sometimes months, after the issue. Hopefuly, the customer's community, through their forum, was pretty helpfull.
Disgusted, we switched to cPanel.
Since SWSOFT acquired Plesk, many improvements were done and now it looks like a mature program. Even if I am still using cPanel (and loving it), I may try Plesk in a near future.
