Your Longest Downtime

Hey,

If you have experienced any downtime aswell you may be interested in this thread.. well im just trying to how long everyones longest downtime was and if possible what was the reason..

Well for me my longest downtime was 3 hours because the Main Admin was adding some new features to the cPanel i think it was a Virus Scanner, Spam Assassin, Image Manager and this other stuff..

5 Hours.
Hard Drive Failure. Server had to be setup on a new hard drive, /home and all sql databases were intact, but anything in / (ie linux) was gone. Stayed up all night and had it running the next morning by 5am.

hmm hard drive failure lol havent seen that happening much before what did you think caused it? Overload? Hard Drive filling up?

2 hours... and it was because the entire SAVVIS network went down.

Savvis... I thought they were like one of the best server providers out there like The Planet
