Here a little overviw for those of you who don't know what dedicated servers are about :

What is a dedicated server?
A dedicated server is a secure, high-quality server configuration created by X companies engineers. It is built according to your custom specifications and is designed for scalability. As the owner of a dedicated server, you will have full, unrestricted access through multiple protocols to administer your data effectively.

Who owns a dedicated server?
X company will own and maintain the server hardware in a dedicated server. You have full administrative access; we have the capability, if needed, to quickly rectify any problem. The facility will immediately page a technician if any unscheduled downtime occurs.

Who maintains a dedicated server?
You have complete administrative control over your server with no restrictions for system configurations, patches, operating systems, and applications. To facilitate this, X company will provide multiple protocols of access to your machine, including an exclusive Online Account Manager. If you require assistance, engineers are available for any maintenance or configuration.

What facilities does X company provide for a dedicated server?
We understand the need for physical security and safety. Therefore, we use an ironclad security system, featuring a temperature-controlled storage room with uninterruptable power supplies (UPS) to provide backup power in the case of power failure. If any unscheduled downtime occurs, X company will provide 7x24 monitoring systems that will immediately notify a technician for corrective measures. In addition, all servers are hosted on an ultrafast backbone.

What standard services does X company provide for a dedicated server?
Dedicated server customers enjoy the knowledge that, in the event of any unscheduled downtime, X company technicians will take any and all appropriate steps to reinstate immediate service, including swapping hard drives, restoring data from backups, and more. You will receive prized support from experienced technicians who are happy to help with any questions or concerns. Finally, security engineers will recommend and implement software patches and security updates to ensure the protection of your data.
