I'm looking for a tech support company to outsource to. We currently offer live chat 6am-6pm and 24/7 ticket support. We've been working with a company for the past 3 months and it's not really working out, so we're looking for a replacement.

We've been using bobcares for about 2 weeks. The service has been very good. They are a little too serious with clients but they get the job done at 4:00 AM when I or others can't.

Bobcares is good and has good rates. Arress India - http://www.24x7hostingsupport.com/ is another good one. With both bobcares and Arress, you can pay by the ticket / customers, or if you can justify it hire dedicated techs that answer only your issues. We've worked with both of those companies fairly extensively and certainly have more good than bad to say.

Will they give you headaches too sometimes? If you use them long enough ofcourse, but that's just tech support. The headaches are far fewer than managing an in-house team 24x7.

I highly resommend act support as they know both windows and unix. Unless things have chnaged bob only knows unix but I could be wrong as we have not used them for over 2 years.

I use to work at a company that outsourced tech support. It is hit and miss in my opinion. Some guys are good and some are not. Folks change etc. Personnally, I don't like folks handling what is most precious to me, customer relations, in this manner. I like to interact with them and communicate with them. It builds stronger business relationships. Also, I noticed that Dell brought their outsourced tech support for biz clients back to US. they found that there was something missing that really upset their bigger clients. Something to think about.
