I own www.sbyweb.net, and Im trying to get input from hosts, and clients alike, what do you think the max number of clients/accounts should be on a server. Please vote, and express your reason below.

That's like asking how many people will fit in a phone booth.
Depends on the size of the people.
I would definitely prefer the bare minimum. Why slow everyone down? Some sites like to use custom scripts and streaming media, obviously you could ban these sites, but that is the wave of the future. Flash, streaming audio/video and game servers...these type of sites will pay for reliable, quick servers!
I agree with Blowdeadline.
Depend of wich services you are offering.
I voted for the minimum as the important point isn't the income you can made with you server but the perfomance and the quality of services you can offer.
To be honnest, i would like to vote for 80-100 sites hosted on a 20 Go Hard Disk... Fit for me the perfection :)
