I have readen an article today relating the pro's and the con's of each OS for webhosting.
What surprised me a lot was the % of businesses proposing Windows hosting. Even with all the security risks involved with Windows servers, peoples still continue to like it. Mainly because of ASP and .NET wonders. (Though i still wonder why)
As i was finding these rates funny, i wondered why hybrid products like Lindows were not inspired to release a Webserver application. Merging advantages from Unix/Linux world with ASP and .NET alternatives... This was sounding really good to me.
I googled for "Lindows weberver" and nothing...
Not even a relevant informations concerning a project in development.
Funny.
I know that a huge majority of users still use "Windows" as their personal OS. (On PC machine, of course). I guess that only an elite is "playing" with Lindows. (I didn't yet).
BUT, does anyone already heard about a "Hybrid Webserver" dedicated to Lindows?
If not, why not?
