phpmanager - 04-10-2004, 03:32 AM

Hello,

I would like everyones opinion on the phpmanager script. positive or negative I am already using it but would like other peoples comments on it either good or bad. Also if any of you are using it have any of you re-skined the clients side control panel?

phpManager is awful. I know it's cheap, but seriously, you might as well shell out a bit more cash and get a decent software - I think something as basic as phpManager could be done by most people themselves if they did a bit of reading. The system is buggy, featureless and ugly. Development has always been extremely poor, as has support, which is why I gave my licenses away free of charge, but since they got bought out, that's just gone down even further.

MTBill,

Your comments are slanderous...

There are no bugs with phpManager and there are many features offered by our solution (http://www.neomanager.com/features.php)

Please see: http://forums.neomanager.com/showthr...=&threadid=298 for details on my new role at NeoManager.

congrats for your new role,I used to use your software but the development and your old administration behind neoManager( AKA phpmanager) seemed to be very lacking.

His comments are not slanderous, they are his opinion and he is entitled to them.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion and I honestly would recommend that you stay away from phpManager as it has went through hell. Heopfully, things will be cleaned up and they can clean up the reputation.

Correct, everyone is entitled to their opinion and that is why I do like using these types of forum.

However stating "The system is buggy and featureless" is slander nonetheless.

If you were to write: "I think that the system is feautureless" or "In my opinion there are a lot of bugs" it would be different...

Either way I do not want to get into an argument over it. All I will say is keep an eye on http://www.neomanager.com things are changing, we have just implemented our new web site and also in the forums we have set up a thread dedicated to updates on the release of NeoManager.

I used PHPManager for a short while and was not too impressed with it. Especially the secret calling home function was awful. It was just way beyond a normal license control feature. I'll never touch that software again.
