I used it as it looked 'pretty' so everyone thought it had some good features and was recommended by alot of folks so i went along with it. I think it is just a 'pretty' helpdesk with just few useful features :)

Bankoi Web HelpDesk - 04-10-2004, 08:39 PM

Here you have a similar good alternative :

http://www.helpdesk-software.ws

Kayako charges yearly, bankoi helpdesk is one time payment license unless you want to upgrade version

regards

Kayako is a great helpdesk, although it's very expensive. I use InverseFlow, which I would recommend to anyone. Too bad it's not on sale anymore :(

You guys obviously haven't heard of help center live.

It is free and opensource, so there is no harm in trying it!
Lets put it this way, phplive charge to use like half the
features of this, it is the best!
Trust me guys.

And
"I've been using PHPLiveSupport and it has been very good. I like the fact it has a desktop app that sits in the system tray, very handy!"

Check out the app that you can purchase for just $30 to go with help center live. The app that is with phplivesupport is worse than vesrion one of the app.
Now at version 1.2 it is completley remade, the phplivesupport is more like an explorer window in an app. You do not need to buy the app with helpcenterlive.

www.helpcenterlive.com

you wont regret it.

Check out a demo, you can sign up for a free one, takes about
5 mins and you are up and running! That lasts about 1 week
so you can get the feel of it, download it and set it up on your
server.

It is a help desk and a ticket system in one.

The winapp is just $30 and is the most advanced you will find,
plus you can download a demo free first to try that!

I use it! I chose it because it looked like a nice system, heard some good things about and everyone seems to love it out there.

We use it also, it does do a good job compared to the others we have had in the past. We just got their liveresponse program and it looks promising.
