I am looking for a company who provides support via a 1800 number many of my clients have been requesting this and have lost a few because I don't offer phone support. I know I can get my own 1800 number for a small fee however not having someone being to answer it there is no sense of having one. I usually reply to e-mails within 4 hours. Anyone know of any companies that handle customer support via 1800?
Well I would check out touch support...they can handle this for you...i know actsupport just started doing the phone support but i would rather spend a $ more n go with touch support for this...
I would recommend Vertosoft...we used to use them for our 24/7 toll free, helpdesk and live chat support until we decided to get an in house solution since we were rapidly expanding. You could contact them at sales@vertosoft.com with your requirements and they will get back to you with a good deal :D

Call control is extremely important along with tone and grammer. If you have persistant lonely people calling for phone support(every major holiday, its so sad.) You have to consider cutting these customers, although Dell might swoop in to pick them up(you never know.) Polite but firm is what I try and teach my techs.
To my knowledge bobcares does not currently provide phone support.
There are a couple of other us-based options however, I haven't dealt with any of them personally so I cannot recommed them.
Keep in mind that you've got a per-minute rate for your 800 number, plus phone service. You might want to consider a virtual pbx style service for this type of application. I am a fan of aptela.com.

I heard from few people that hybricom.com is pretty good in support but I'm not sure if they provider 800 number. I haven't used them myself though.
