Interesting question..
but a very simple answer comes to mind..
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
my company has been through some hard times..but we always kept our customers because we always offer quick and efficient technical support.

Good tech support is vry important these days. If you offer bad support, clients will leave you for someone that offers better support, so if your company lacks in support, you really have no future in hosting
