I usually just put in meta tags and submit to major engines myself. That is the most reliable way to do it.

i have heard of a program that adds you to 1000 search engines, it`s named exactseek too or something

You could try www.addme.com , not sure if it works though....

or you could try anyone of those programs that add your site to hundreds of search engines... like addweb 6, etc.

Your best would be to link to your site from a site that's already been indexed through a search engine, it worked for me, i used to get 60 hits pe month, i linked to my domain from my school site and the no of hits went up to a thousand per month!!
