I want to promote some of my site effectively. For that i want to know the proven techniqes to be followed.

1. I heard that lot of people uses google adwords but dont get desired results. Just because they use it ineffectively. I like to know how to use adwords effectively.

2. what are the other ways I can promote my site to target audiance who actually uses the products offer by site or would be customers.

Your suggestions towards this will highly appreciated.

Strange.. i hear really good things about google addwords. You'll have to pick the right words though, the best onces will cost more per click.
