www.marketleap.com and www.mikes-marketing-tools.com have free search engine checkers. You can type in the URL, the keywords and check the rankings on multiple search engines at once. I think these sites and other automated sites only look within the first 3 pages of results though.

We can check the rankings there & we can compare our site with two other competetive sites too to check which is better one.

The best site to check your rank and traffic is Alexa. They are google affiliates and its not official but google does check your site ranks here before approving your adsense publisher account.

Wow, domain name forum is ranked 24625 on the alexa website, thts great going ;)
