I have created site at www.onlydevelopers.com

I need to setup promotion statagy to promote this site well in search engines as well as news letter campaign.

I need to know what type promotion techniques i shall use to promote it well. In other words if this site is owned by you what type of statagy you will adopting to promote that.

I have also heard that forums like webprowold, sitepoint and others do promote a site commercially through there newsletter network etc. I need to know more about this.

Well, there are a lot of ways. You may find some of them here here. I'd like to advise you an original way. Develop a custom toolbar. As you own a forum like this (nice design by the way :) ) it may become a useful tool for your users. For example, you can inform it about "Top 5 posts", allow them to search trough your site, and implement many other popular features. Think about it. It's a good marketing tool, as for me :)
