Domains are different since these days most domains are on shared hosting and really require no load or cost to hosts. This does not fall under the magical unlimited drives. We offer unlimited domains and the only real concern is space. So if you limit space you really limit everything. Space is the key. If you get unlimited domains and only get 250 MB of space well your sites could only have a few pages if you plan to have allot of domains. So the key is to find a host that offers unlimited domains and a good amount of space for the price. This way you can have a good amount of domains and some real content.

If you are good at server administration and those companies with @unlimited everything@ give you root access to your server - you can go with them. But if you arent keen with server security and all related stuff - the only way to avoid BIG and constant headache :-) it to make deal with someone reliable. Lets say, check the guys at www.zeonhost.net or mirohost.

I'll just reiterate what other people have posted in saying that any "offer" of unlimited bandwidth is dodgy to say the least. It means that they are overselling their server space and bandwidth and also if you use "excessive" amounts of bandwidth and space they will simply kick you off.

It is only an advertising ploy - if people do take advantage then they are likely to remove you from their servers.

I'd advise finding a more reputable and well known host.
