Hi,
I am a newbie and looking for a good hosting reseller option available which is reliable and good with all the basic stuff like unlimited domains, cpanel etc. Could be a LINUX based. Only thing which I be looking at is reliability. Tough Question, but where can i compare the services of various good reseller options available. Is there any genuine Rating list available anywhere ?

Any help would be highly appreciated.

I would be careful with most ratings in web hosting directories. Very often the negative ratings are surpressed because the web hosts pay for the listing.

Make a check list of questions and tests. Then select the web hosts that meet your criteria and put 'em to the test. Make sure you test their support response time.

I am hosting all my sites with httpme.com - they do not offer unlimited domains though. But I consider that as good as it helps to prevent servers from becoming overloaded.

Hi we can help you with this, let me first introduce a company I work for Interhost Uk http://interhostuk.net . We are part of a family group of hosting companys which has been around for over 9 years in total, with full automated access to enom and Nominet Uk.

I personaly use them as my host at home for my personal website, not just because I get it free but because its very fast and very reliable.

Best of all I know that they do know what they are talking about. What you have to watch out for is resellers with a dedicated server whom cram the servers full of resellers and this gradually slows the sites dowm. A few ways to ensure you get what should be a reliable host.

1) Pick a host that has been in business for more than a few months.

2) E-mail their sales and support at different times of day and judge the timing and quality of the response. (Remember that alot of companies sales may take longer to answer than support)

3) If the host has forums post a few questions and see what kind of response you get from existing clients

4) Expect to get what you pay for.....
