pay per domain/customer? - 04-22-2003, 08:05 AM

Are there any reseller programs where you pay the parent site per sale you make... like if I were to be a domain reseller and I sold a domain... I would just pay the parent site for the domain I sold, and just up the price to the person I sold to so that I make a profit? And if this is possible... who does it? What site? and Can I also do it for hosting? Thanks.

I also wanted to ask...
The reason I am interested in reselling is because I am starting a web design business and I am planning on reselling domains and hosting for my customers I am making sites for. So I am not sure paying a monthly fee would really be an efficiant way of doing business... I dont think I will have enough customers to cover the monthy cost. Is there any way I can buy like a set amount of domains and hosting and just buy more when I run out (if what I asked before is not possible)? I am pretty new to this reselling thing, so please bare with me.

and yet another question - 04-22-2003, 09:58 AM

Many reseller programs offer an "Unlimited Domain Names" feature. What does this mean???

Hi mitzork... - 04-28-2003, 04:28 AM

Well you have many different options nowdays on reseller accounts. The way our program works is you purchase a reseller plus account and this enables your add domain function within your own control panel to add your accounts. You order those as you need them. Ours are complete seperate accounts that come with their own control panel, dedicated ip, and all the other features that we offer our own hosting clients. Resellers choose from 4 plans, 25MB-200MB.You are charged per account and then you mark that plan up as you see fit. If you would like to contact me to discuss anything further, please email directly from our site. Our setup is great for web designers, developers, etc.
