I'm holding a forum posting contest for my new messageboard, WebDevShack.com. It is a forum for webmasters, and web developers, new and not so new ones. This is a good chance to get something to start the new year with. Read below for the fine print...

1st place prize - $40 Gift Certificates to the user with the most posts by January 2, 2005
2nd place prize - $20 Gift Certificates to the user with the second most posts by January 2, 2005
3rd place prize - $5 Gift Certificates to the user with the most busiest/creative thread.

Dates of Contest

11/17/2004 - 1/2/2005

Winners will be announced that weekend on the 3rd or 4th after posts are reviewed.

If you do not see a forum category that you would like to post in, I am open to suggestions. I would like to have all of the current categories in the forums filled up. Don't just start threads, respond to them too if you are interested in the topic.

Posts must be relevent to the WDS Forums, short posts such as "i agree, "cool" or "nice website, good design" will not qualify. Use complete sentences, don't write in ALL CAPS, or write everything in lowercase. This contest is limited to one payout per person so you can't joing multiple times and get paid for each account.

I have no takers yet so I've decided to change the prizes.
