I'm very sorry to hear that you were not happy with our service. We do maintain a 99.9% uptime over the long run, with an average of just one outage per year. Unfortunately, there are occasions where that yearly outage occurs not long after a client signs up for service, which gives the appearance of poor uptime.
In most cases, the service is up again within 4 hours; depending on the severity of the problem. It appears that in your case that something must have happened to your specific site and not the server. We do try to work with each customer that is still having a problem after an outage has been resolved, but it appears that we did not realize that you were still having problems.
The credit that was issued was a standard credit based on actual server downtime. Since we were not aware that you site was still down after the server was restored, we did not issue you additional credit. We would have worked with you to get your site back online and provided you with additional credit had we known that you were still having problems.
I can assure you that we are not a "1 man show" here at Mecca Hosting. We have thousands of clients and have a 15-minute average response time, with a resolution time of less than 1-hour. This level of support could not be provided to thousands of customers with only one person. However, we are still a small hosting company and you would often be speaking to the same person; but, we think that this is a "good" thing.
Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority here at Mecca Hosting. If you had contacted our customer service manager about your problem we would have done whatever was necessary to try to come to a resolution that would have made you happy. Unfortunately, most customers leave without contacting us about a problem or issue so we don't get a chance to help them.
