Apparently Mel.. has stated that,
ALL OF HIS PREVIOUS work ... has only been "training".. leading up to this movie..
As a young teen, Gibson was near homeless, and disfigured and beaten nearly to death. A preacher took him in, and paid for plastic surgury.. and ask that if only, sometime in Gibson's life.. he would do something to serve the Lord..

YESSIREE BOB. Since I'm a Christian, that would make me very a very avid supporter of the movie. I've heard it's really gory and the like, but I still would like to see it. ^_^
