ah soz i misunderstood (dumb dutchie ;) )

niw, lot of ppl that dont know anything or very little about webdesign/development but who wanna try making their own site will start with frontpage since it comes with Office

if im not mistaking Frontpage has a 'easy frames wizard' or something in that kind and frames look very appealing to ppl who want to have a menu on the side and content next to it

once i first started out making pages i used frames too cause they seemed handy, now im a professional webdesigner and i hate them, my collegues would laugh at me if id used them now lol, and for good reasons

Well actually, they still are handy. Just not as handy as all the other things you could use.

Frontpage doesn't come with all Office packages... my dad bought it on a separate cd to try it out (which I also tried). Went straight to Dreamweaver MX when I got Macromedia Studio MX for Education use as a birthday present, of course, lol.

Then again, I usually get the school/student/education versionsof products, so maybe thats why they never include those useless extras ;).

I will never look at an eel the same way again after watching "More Eels". If you don't know what I'm referring to, feel blessed you haven't.

doesnt come along with all versions i know but with a lot
lot of ppl just buy the premium package so they sure they dont miss anything lol

and its not just frontpage ofcoz but i just used that as an example
dreamweaver also has framemaking stuff thats pretty easy to do
i use dreamweaver only because its fast but i always have to go insource to really get it done

but we drifint off to software ;) was talking bout frames, i guess they alright for personal homepages and stuff, handy and easy to use but for professional pages its not done

i remember one of our clients who wanted us to do SEO/webpromotion for them but their site consisted of dozens of frames, frames in other frames, filenames that had numbers instead of good descriptions, what a disaster
