| A Funny Deported Immigrant Story -

On another forum, someone shared the rewards of volunteering. I had to laugh at this antecdote:
"He was a Congolese immigrant. After his arrival, another Congolese immigrant came to the legal aid place where I have to volunteer and accused the guy of being the military officer who sacked his neighborhood and set a church on fire. So, we contacted the HRW and Amnesty representatives in the Goma region, and they found several witnesses who corroborated the story. We forwarded all of that information to the Immigration Department and now the guy is facing a deportation hearing.
What's funny is that he'll probably be deported to Kinshasa, a town that he knows nothing about, since he was in the far east of that huge country.
I thought this volunteering job would be mostly boring, but this was sort of fun. We got a guy deported for once. Most of the time, we just make sure the ones that want to stay don't **** up their paperwork." THE FIRST NAME
