....I once thought about auditioning for American Idol....Needless to say I am grateful for my hesitation.

I hate laughing at other people, because I know how nerve racking it is for audtions period, let alone one's with cameras and Simon sitting there throwing out insults... But the one called "He sings a song." is worth watching only for Randy and Paula's reaction.

Seriously, there are some talented people that have just folded while auditioning for that show. I knew of a girl who shook so hard, she couldn't even stand up by herself. Locked knees and all. This was a classically trained singer who was used to dealing with stage fright.

Personally, I think I'd rather build up my career on my own than to be thrust into the spotlight like that. That and Simon terrifies me, yet entertains me at the same time. Go figure. *L*
