Someone downloaded me some crap - 12-01-2003, 04:16 AM

The 'crap' does the fallowing : when I got to sites and the page displays certain keywords such as "domain names", "mortgages", "loans" etc the system underlines these keywords and make them linkable to http://www.runsearch.com/top/go.php?qq=keyword

The site where the system makes the keywords linkable to changes all the time because their sites probably get shut down.

Where to look for a bug? Tried everything, can't find the file.
Reinstalled IE, doesn't help.
Good that my AOL browser works fine.

I'm mad :verymad:

Eww... you keep the AOL browser on your computer? Lol... to each his own I guess.

Did you try searching for adware using Ad-aware/SpyBot/some other prog or viruses using whatever antivirus program you have?

I will never look at an eel the same way again after watching "More Eels". If you don't know what I'm referring to, feel blessed you haven't.

You have to go to Microsoft support. I had this on my old computer and what it does is it rewrites your address not found file.

Good advice.
I'll got to Mic support, they should help.
It's not 404 configuration however.
