How do I make Mozilla as my default browser?

How many of you prefer Mozilla over IE?

I prefer Mozilla. When you install it you can select, "make Mozilla Firefox my default browser".

The first time you run the browser, it should ask you if you want to make Mozilla your default browser. If you answered "no" and later decide you would like it to act as your default browser:

Windows: go to Edit | Preferences | Navigator. Click Set Default Browser.
Mac OS X: go to the Apple menu | System Preferences | Internet | Web | Default Browser | Select.
GNOME (Unix/Linux): Open the Control Panel. Go to Document Handlers | URL Handlers | Default: gnome-moz-remote --newwin %s .Then put the following text in ~/.gnome/gnome-moz-remote (create the file if it does not exist): [Mozilla]

I prefer Mozilla over IE.

I'm using Firefox 1.0 as well.

I prefer Mozilla over IE any day, and I think that will be the view that you'll get from anyone who has more than 3 windows open at once. You've just got to love tabs. I like Firefox most out of the Mozilla familly, the number of extension, the security, better rendering, tabs and the fact that I can't run IE on Linux are only some of the reasons why I use it. ;)

Did you hear that news developers have announced, the current Mozilla 1.7 version will be the last despite the wide availability of a 1.8 beta version. Their main focus is on FireFox browser and Thunderbird email client.

Cheers,

I currently like the netscape browser, but i'm using IE simply because it runs the best for me (in terms of speed etc)

I'm a Mozilla fan myself. I've had a slew of problems with Explorer, and I haven't had a single problem with Firefox. I wish I had discovered Firefox earlier than I did. It would've saved me a couple years worth of irritation with Explorer.
