Photoshop alternatives - 04-29-2004, 07:40 PM

Hello,
I would like to purchase a gfx program that can create banners, buttons and simple graphics.I can't spend $500 for Photoshop, any alternatives?

Photoshop Elements is pretty good from what I understand. It usually goes for about $100. It's basically a stripped-down version of photoshop. It will give you most of the features you will need, it just doesn't have a lot of the high-end filters and things.

you also might poke around on download.com for some freeware animators.

I am trying Paintshop pro now and I like it morethan photoshop.very easy to use and not much complex like Photoshop or Macromedia products.
