How can i stop the gof animation after 3 loops in Fireworks?

I don't think you can, I think you would have to make 3 sets of the loop itself, then set the last frame to something like 10 minutes..

I believe what you do is in the Export Preview, click the Animation tab, and from the drop down menu, select the number of times you want it to cycle.

Hey vito, is that option available in ImageReady as well? I can't seem to find it anywhere.. :(

Sorry, Trifolic, I'm not familiar with using Image Ready since that is what you would use with PhotoShop.

If the truth be known what I use for making animated gifs is Animation Shop http://www.jasc.com/products/animationshop/? . It's $39 and they have a free trial as well. Great program. Easy to use, very versatile, you can set the timing and other parameters on a frame by frame basis very quickly. I recommend it.

Animation Shop is pretty nice. I have to agree I fully recommend it.
