I use crimson editor too and it rocks!
Not only can it be used for HTML pages, it can be used as a general editor for many other programming languages like PHP, ASP, Perl, etc. Great free product.
I would avoid FrontPage and GoLive. If you want to learn how to build web sites, and not just one in your life, your better off either learning html using notepad, or using a more complex program like Macromedia Dreamweaver. I recommend you download the trial version of dreamweaver at http://www.macromedia.com
But as well, I reommend finding simple html tutorials by doing a Google search.
I give you the best of luck in learning web design skills. :)
Shame about the size of dreamweaver really, Im on the old MX version. Not MX plus but its just too big to download on dial-up.
The differences between the two are so little its not even worth upgrading :)
When I used to have dial up, I used to download files over 100 megs. Ya just gotta leave it running while you sleep.

True, But my providor is stupid. It disconnects every 2 hours and any download software including flashget etc continually moan and just die if it disconnects x amount of times.
