At least for anyone who is always on the move and it doesn't want to wait too long in order to cash in his funds.
Also, on my Google searches, I found that OsCommerce can be implemented very easily as a shopping cart. It has an ikobo payment contribution too. In fact, it has plugins for every payment processor available on the market. What do you think about osc? Should I give it a try?
Hi, Solenza

Yes, yes, and once more yes!

You should try osCommerce. I have had a GREAT experience with it. Works on both Windows and Linux hosts, has a large variety of modules and add-ons like payment modules, shipping modules and many-many-many...

The best thing is - it is free. Only requires support of PHP and MySQL on your hosting. It can be easily re-designed. We have made OSC re-designs, you can see most of them at www.our-portfolio.com As you can see, these are osCommerce-based shops tuned for special needs and individual businesses.

I cannot advertize our services here, you can see the demo osCommerce shop at http://shop.help4hosters.com and you can contact us at support@help4hosters.com to get login and password to osCommerce admin side.

Please, do not consider my post a spam or ad, I just want a pleasant person ;) to avoid headaches with e-commerce carts.

So, I am pleased to wish you good luck once more, catch the moment in that hurry of online businesses. Get back to me if you need, I have left an email above (ask for Nazar there :-)

Cheers.

So you are saying that oscommere is a good way to start my online shop, huh ? Well, you are not te only one who is saying these things. I am going to download it and install it. Have you installed payment contributions before ? What are the steps to install ikobo's payment module. Do you have experience with ikobo ? Besides the large coverage and the advantages of lower fees what other features deserve to be mentioned about ? Thanks.

Actually, this is our business. Frankly saying, we did not have any deals with ikobo, I am not sure whether they have a payment contribution for osCommerce. But no worries, it can be scripted.

Anyway, not to spam with advertizing here, you can contact us at support@help4hosters.com if you need someone to do the job for you. Otherwise, I will peep in here to help if I can :-)

Regards,

Nazar

Thanks for your offer but I think that I will try to install it on my own. If my result will be negative then I will definitively contact you. :)
I really want to start this online store and I would really appreciate if you could give me some URL where I could find some info about this osc contributions. I really like ikobo's fees (2.9% + 0.29$/transaction) and besides that, it is the only payment service with coverage over my country. Also my products will be sold worldwide so their 170 countries coverage really helps me a lot, hence my interest for this ikobo payment contribution.
Thank you.

Hi, Solenza

May I wonder what is your business?

Also, you have asked about smth to read about osCommerce. I usually find most accurate and up-to-date info at http://www.oscommerce.com/documentation

More of that browse here: http://www.oscommerce.com/community it is a page of osCommerce community (people who use, develop and maintain osCommerce solutions).

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions is a page with 99% of free contributions for osCommerce. Why I mention free - because some companies develop commercial modules and add-ons. For example, we have Affiliate Program for osCommerce, Saferpay payment module, some more, and we sell them.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Nazar from Help4Hosters

And what do you think about zencart? If I’m not mistaken ikobo also supports this shopping cart. But is it worth using?
