Process credit cards? - 09-02-2003, 04:50 PM

hi. i'm looking into a reseller account for a single place to host the clients that i develop.

my question. what's the easiest way to process the monthly fees I will charge my clients for hosting? I would like to set it up so I can automatically charge them on a monthly basis, and simply send them a confirmation, instead of waiting for them to get around to paying me.

any suggestions here?

Hey there,

Why dont you try out Paypal as they have the recurring billing solution you are looking for, and the best part? They are free!!!

Take care

For a complete turnkey option, there is www.2checkout.com. They basically offer a merchant account / recurring billing solution bundled into one. They have their advantages and disadvantages but are not a bad service.

You seen Modernbill? www.modernbill.com - You can lease this software for $15 - $25 per month and it has lots of billing services, but you still need a merchant account. You will find a very decent merchant account offer on their web site as well.

These are two good choices for you.

The problem with "modernbills" merchant account services are that apparently if you're in canada they're no use? It says the requirement is that I must have a US tax id, or bank account, etc?

:) Hi bliss322,
The best mix would be a combination of PayPal and either Paysystems or 2Chekout.
