He is the admin and contact of the domain simply because it was a gift from him to me, but I am the OWNER of the domain. It was just registered by his company as a gift to me. I am sure the WHOIS information can be changed if need be.

he wont relinquish ownership, he will always be the owner, he is fine with my doing this... it was for myuse, and ive decided to give it up... 20$ buy it now... or bid on

I had the domain name appraised. It was valued at atleast 30$,

look at the top, you get a free hosting account with it fo ra one time fee of 20$...
you get to utilize the domain, make subdomains, do anything you want..

But why can't you switch webhosting companies??

Well, considering he wont, it was a GIFT, he has no control over what the domain is ranking on alexa or whatever. Think of it this way, I won a contest, and the grand prize was free hosting and a free domain. EVERYTHING is mine, he cant take back something he gave me... all the person has to do is host with them... he wont take it back...

You shouldn't be allowed to sell this, because all you're doing is selling something that is not even yours, cuz its not under your name and we can loose t he domain afterwards if the GIVER feels like it... what guarantee is there that he won't? This also shouldn't be considered a sale because there are TERMS here, and once you sell a car for example, you cannot ask a owner to stay with your insurance company or they will take away the car, lol
