For those of you who don't know, .M4A is the file extension used by all non-protected (non-Digital Rights Management audio files) in the MP4 format on Apple's iPod players and Apple's iTunes Software. Every file that a person using iTunes rips (encodes) to MP4 audio gets the M4A file extension!
Apple just announced today that HP was going to distribute a copy of iTunes on every new coonsumer PC they sell and also that HP was going to sell a re-branded iPod player:

The market for people making their own .M4A (MPEG 4 Audio) files is tremendous, as this is the replacement for MP3! Better quality, International ISP and MPEG standard, etc.
