Someone got my domain before i could

Recently i bought a domain and it was available when i bought it but then before my registrar could register it someone else already had, but now they wont refund my money , only offer me credit towards a new one ? Any legal recourse i can take ?

GoDaddy seemed to be a good registar earlier, now they are kinda 'unprofessional'. I moved most of my domains from them to eNom :P

Yes, Godaddy just plain pisses me of as of late. I dont use them much anyway except when I transfer domains into it from other GD Accounts, but recently I transferred a domain of mine from Enom to GD and it took about 3 Weeks under which most of thetime the name showed up as under GD control. I had to email them a few times before they fixed it and it was available under my control.

Godaddy has always been great for me. But I don't have a large amount of domains with them. I have read lots of horror stories about Enom at ***. In my opinion godaddy is the best.

I don;'t know how its possible for godaddy not to register it because once you search a domain and click one of the register buttons to register it, godaddy reserves it so no one else can register it. Not sure how long it gets reserved for but it does.

i thought godaddy was good, olddh was registered with them
