I used to the Google search only for domains ending in this extension function to generate this:

.info 5,270,000
.biz 2,640,000
.us 10,700,000 ( Must take into account the fact .us commerical premiered 2 years ago but many years before that all school disticts and cities in this country adopted the extension for their webpages)
.cc 2,100,000
.ws 1,620,000
.name 71300
.tv 1,550,000

any idea what is the % of increase & what about .com domains.

Percent increase no idea, I guess we will just have to do this again in 6 months time.

.com supports 133,000,000 results.
