Angry IIS Issues -> Driving like an old lady! - 07-11-2005, 06:31 PM

I am having some issues with one of our servers and I cannot figure out for the life of me why it is having this problem.

When going from page to page, every couple of minutes, the request stalls as if the web server is thinking really hard about something before returning the web page. However no additional cpu usage can be seen. Both memory and cpu are fine.

Its almost acting as if there were a DNS problem. You know how windows will stall when it cant reach DNS servers... Anyway, I really dont want to try reinstalling IIS because of all the configurations I have setup in it. I was hoping that perhaps the general public could give me some ideas on what to try.

To give you an example of what I am talkign about, visit the following url and logon;

You will notice as you go from page to page, some of the requests take a really long time. This is happening with other areas like phpmyadmin and etc. Its really annoying. Go through and do about 20 page views just so you can see what I am talking about.
