How much bandwith to begin... -

Hy evereybody...
Hy have a lot of thing to stard beginning a small datacenter but I have a question...
For beginning, what is the size bandwith of the bandwith I need to offer a good service ? A lot of datacenter offer between 500 to 2000 gig a month. How can they offer that?
Wel starting a DC is an expensive proposition but for the bandwidth side datacenters assume that most people won't use most of the bandwidth so they oversell. On a very simple level if a datacenter can do say 10Tb's a month they will allocate customers say prehaps 50Tb and hope most people won't use them
If you do a simple calculations, the 2000 GB /month is only ~ 6Mbit/S
and that's the actual bandwith you're paying for and you don't use half of it most of the time
And this is not a lot of bandwidth for a large datacenter like the planet for example, they have ~ 20 Gbit/s pipe which could serve about 3333 servers. ;)
The cost of MBps varies. The average is around $120-130.00 per mb, you would really like to start off with atleast a 10Mbps connection. Thats fairly quick. Are you looking for redundacy?
