Where to advertise?

If you want a large exposure you can try to advertise on Sitepoint. That would get you started. I am not sure what the rates are though.

yes sitepoint.com is pretty good to start, also u can choose this place to advertise.

have a look through google and search hosting or something you want to get high in and then get the link or links of the sites that high rank adn see whos linking to them e.g. search: link:http://www.yourcomp.com/ and you can see if you can get some free links to your site.

Put in a ad with googles Adwords.

I find a advert in ebay helps to. If you have a cat thats a popular one, then submit a cat feature auction that I pay £9.95 (dont know what ebay.com charge) and I get around 500 click throughts on one company thatg I work for for a 10 day auction and that around 700 views.
