How to generate more Sales?

I would like to open a discussion in how to generate more Sales. I believe More traffic can definitely bring you more potiential sales. But, how do you bring more traffic to your websites?

Here comes the tough question. We know that people have popup blocker in their computer. So, what's better these days? Those Spam e-mails? If you read the news, I don't think it really helps now.

Personally, I am more interested in Banners and Popin Ads. How do you guys think?

I always look at it from a clients perspective....Why do I want to buy from you? What makes you better than the other guy down the street at half the price?

Alot of your marketing depends on your demographic that your looking for....Do you want busniesses or do you want personal websites....Do you want fly by nighers or do you want steady customers who expect customer service to be top priority instead of profits...

Every product and service has a time and place for it. What worked for one person may not work for you at all.

Personally, Google Adwords, Overture, and Kanoodle was a waste of money, and FindWhat produced the best results.

If you haven't tried any of the PPC search engines, set a budget for yourself and test, test, test until you get reasonable results.
