I'm new to domain names, so this might be a dumb question: If you do get a C&D, does that mean the name is pretty much worthless ?? I [being a newbie] thought that people TRIED to come up with domain names that corporations like Nextel would like to purchase. Couldn't you argue that the name refers to a particular type of Nascar racing, and has NOTHING to do with the Nextel phone company ?? Has anyone out there ever heard of a domain owner taken to court, or is the C&D designed to scare us into submission??
