For example: Small hosting provider groups could meet personal on a per region base and merge their business. One is better on marketing, the other better on email support, etc...

If one of them is ill, the others can support his clients. Everybody pays 5% of his revenue to the group and is safe when he gets a problem.

Together each small group shares clients - the bigger second level or country groups organize the bigger things like insurance for employees and insurance against data loss of customers projects...

Or 24/7 share around the globe for the support part of the hosting business.
