You will need to get some tools or subscribe to services that will provide you with the following material:
Google Page Rank
Overure Ext
Alexa Rank
These three used together are great indicators to detect whether or not a domain should be registered. Your whole purpose in doing this is to find a domain that is receiving traffic flow. Once you register the domains you will need a good traffic program. I reviewed one here:
