Thanks for the detailed and insightful analysis, and want you to know that I'm on the same page w/ you. I post appraisal requests more for the feedback, (and yours is excellent), then for precisely determining a names's value. (Figuring end-user value, in particular, is almost impossible, particularly in in light of viewing a few lists of recent names that have sold and the figures.)

I don't see these particular .us domains as ready, either, and picked them up based upon their potential. They are relatively short, and as our Orwellian future draws closer, "id", "scan", and "screen(ing)" are going to become more common place. "Watch", fits the the overall security theme.

All 3 of these names are actually the result of an extensive "rfid" (radio frequency identification) search. RFID technology has been around for awhile, but until recently, it's application has been limited. Soon, this technology will be used to track cattle and livestock (Mad Cow Disease), will support (if not replace) the barcode, and has already been used successfully at tollbooths on the east coast , for scanning automobiles to to let a computer know who just passed by so the computer will know what credit card to debit for the toll fee. (BTW, might be interesting to get a new-tech thread going- have done a little specialization in this area, including Nano, LED (used as a light source), RFID, Genome, and a few "Cryo", "Bio" and other misc.bio-tech prefix/suffix terms

Interesting grammatical analysis of "screening", and I do see the "nounishness" of the word. I regged this one "on the come", as well, because of obvious topical value in addition to the above stated reasons.

Thanks for the link. I almost always do searches before purchasing a name, but didn't this time, because I had been concentrating on RFID, and because of beleiving the subject matter that is attached to these names, is strong enough to eventually balance out of the weaknesses that I was going to find. :weight:
